24 inch vs 27 inch monitor - Page 2

Haha, this thread is getting more attention 2 months after the first without a bump from the OP than before.

I beg to differ though, you will notice the pixel difference, it all depends on where and how far you are sitting from the screen. Go to a store and test it out.

Well, i found only a 27" but no 24" to compare to.
Anyway, i found a very light aliasing, but nothing really disturbing. But yes, we can see it.

I've seen on many boards this last days that i'm not the only one hesitating.

That's funny how some people are saying we can't notice any pitch issues and others saying the opposite. smile.gif

Anyway, i really appreciate your feedback as i can't see many displays on shops in france.

Could be because I sit 8 feet away, and it doesn't run with my pc.

Setup on my 37" ...no doubt a 27" will do great in my opinion (would probably depend on the monitor/HDTV though).

At 2' - 3' computing distance as well.

Joe, I don't have to go to a store. I had the BX2450 set up right next my 950d to compare colors etc. The picture sharpness is the same. I'm very picky about my picture quality which is why the BX2450 is going back to the store.

There is merit to what you are saying. I found that my LG 42" IPS wasn't as sharp at close range when I tried gaming on it. Perhaps a lower quality 27" panel might give up some sharpness but the 950d simply does not.

Thanks all for you reply.

Well, more I read website/board, less I know which one I must choose!

I think it's really the first time of my life i'm not able to do a choice.
