Best GPU under 300 dollars? - Page 3

in two months when your ready to build the pricing will have changed on every card mentioned.

the 6970's are gonna start dropping. The gtx570 too.

the 6870's CF are sweet, the 6950's CF are sweeter

Yet AMD have the fastest card on the market. Hmmm.. headscratch.gif

Lets be honest, Price v performance their cards are basically lined up, and if it wasn't like this then people wouldn't be buying the products.

So when you are deciding about what card you want to buy, you have to look at things like total power consumption, heat, noise level's, driver stability, number of connector's required, etc. Also if there is a particular game you play most, you should try and find out which card favours that game.

TL;DR: Price vs performance AMD/Nvidia are basically equal.

Be careful which model 6950 you choose if that is what you do. You will want to flash it to a 6970 and not all can do this. Do research on this before you buy.

Yup, one single graph of one single test and one single (extremely low) resolution. You sure showed me.
