MSI GTX560TI TF2 Dead?

Thread Starter
Sitting here this evening not doing anything strenuous on my sig rig, and all of a sudden i notice pink and blue vertical lines all over the place. Web browser, desktop, everywhere.

As you can see from the attached pic, its not hot. Never been overclocked.

RMA time?

I don't see any lines. Could it be your monitor?
I don't see any lines. I don't think they would be visible by a screenshot, maybe with a camera picture.

Try to re-seat your card on the motherboard, reconnect the cables and adapters then re-install the latest drivers. If that doesn't work test the card on a friend's computer to confirm that it's a hardware issue and if it is then RMA it.

if your using a VGA cable than change that, and it COULD possible be your monitor, try a different screen, or hook it up to your TV

Try another monitor or your TV, make sure the connection is good on both ends. If you still see the lines then it's artifacting, time to RMA.

Edit: To be even MORE sure, you can try another video card. By the sounds of it it's your video card.

Edit #2: Also, try everything zefs said.

well hmm. It's got to be either the monitor or my HDMI cable. Tried an older 20" Sceptre monitor and the artifacts seem to be gone. But its just a DVI connection. So it COULD be the HDMI cable
