I doubt that, the 960 and 920 are the same chip. I doubt any 960 will do 4.5GHZ+ with a significantly lower Vcore then it would take a 920 to hit the same clocks. The 960 is the same old 45nm chip. Even the 975 extremes don't hit upwards of 4.5 without needing a significantly more amount of vcore.
It will make it easier on the 960 vs the 920, that is all. And, if you were to resale your i7 920 chip for say, $150
and buy Darwains 960's for $200..... You're not spending much for more potential
Course they are the same chip, clocked higher. My 920 usually hits 4.0ghz pretty easy but then I have to start pumping it. My old roomie's 960 easily got 4.35 before he needed to make about the same amount of changes as I had to
