Okay so after 2 days of searching and asking around various forums i finally zeroed it down to one card that was perfect for my requirements, so i finally went ahead and bought the Avermedia H727 HD capture Card, as it fit perfectly as to what i need.

So Any owners of this card on this forum who would care to shed some light on some doubts that are spinning around in my mind ????

Im trying to decide which one i want to buy as well. Either the aver or the bmip. though there seems to be a problem with capturing via hdmi because the hdcp but there are several work arounds. Use the component audio cables for audio was a work around i've read about. I saw a video of one guy showing how his setup was and it seemed pretty easy and straight forward but he was using a splitter.

Let me know what you think about the aver so far. If you manage to stream a few videos from your ps3 let me know. I'd like to take a look aswell
