I dont know anything about Raid 1 or Raid 0..

The pros or the cons..

I will have the C300 and a WD 1TB.. is there a reason to raid?

YES YES YES it is the best choice i ever made. Booting up the PC is super fast, im the first to load into games...its just all positives. Do it and once you do you'll never go back!

I'm not saying to RAID the SSD. You lose TRIM support if you do that. Just set the controller to RAID so you can make arrays with other drives.

Of the upgrades I have done to my system, the SSD (OCZ Vertex 3) is the most noticeable. My system boots to the desktop fast and the applications come up just about instantly. WEI for the SSD maxes out at 7.9. Well worth the cost...
