I'm assuming you can't dispose of them in a regular trash can...other side is about to go as well...

Recycle bin?
Sell for parts?
Freebie?

I decided to get the Audio-Technica M50S since getting replacement parts for the HD555 felt like a pain...plus some portable closed-back headphones seemed better for me. Can't wait for their arrival...my ears feel lonely.

... Those look perfectly salvageable.. Ill pay shipping lol.

Not sure how much it costs to ship from Aerodynamic Vortex Tunnel though.

You could easily get creative and fix those for like 10-20$

Btw what headphones are they?

You can dispose of headphones in with your regular household waste. Neodymium isn't dangerous, it just has a scary name.

However, someone might want them for free on here.

Thats a common problem with the Sennheiser 500 series, I'd complain to Senn and ask for a replacement if its still in warranty.

Pretty sure THAT's not a common problem with Sennheiser headphones.

Faultline cracks are, not explosive shattering of the entire upper frame.

Didn't know there were some interests in these damaged headphones. They're regular Sennheiser HD555 headphones that I bought back on January 5, 2010 ...wow didn't realize I had them for that long.

I'll probably make a for sale thread later...seeing how someone mentioned to be able to fix them for $10-20. I wonder if $15 shipped would sound about right...as I have one PM already of interest.
