MSI Mobo making High pitch noise

Thread Starter
My friend recently built his new rig with an MSI board (MSI nf750-g55). The board makes a high pitched beep everytime the LED's blink. I believe it is the Active Phase Switcher though I'm not sure. Is the beeping noise able to be turned off? He says it can get a little annoying.

The build is a

MSI nf750-g55
Phenom II X4
4 Gb of Ram (Not sure what company)
Antec Nine Hundred
EVGA GTX 570 HD
OCZ 40gb SSD
and 750 gb HDD (not sure who the make is)

Thank you in advance !

Is this a low end MSI model (i.e. G65, G55, G45...etc), and with what exact Phenom II x4 processor? A 125W model?

Is the beep that you complain about happening at startup only, or randomly at any time?

I think the solution to this is to shut off the green power feature in the bios.

I'll find out the model soon. I'm in school and Facebook is blocked. I'll find out and ask him when I get home. I'll check the Processor too.

The mobo is a MSI nf750-g55. Processor is a Phenom II X4 925 2.8 ghz, 95W I believe. The beeping only happens when he is gaming or using the computer. Beeping stops when not in use.

To supplement what vinzor5000 was saying, the beeps are high pitched, but not very loud. There doesn't seem to be any pattern. When the computer is on sleep/standby there are no beeps.

I'm not too sure what the beeping is. It might be a case speaker grounding issue, but that's all the ideas I have.
