IMO...

IB isn't worth "waiting for". However Haswell is, if you're going to wait for something, at least wait for something major.

Kinda hard for us to tell you to wait or stick with what you have...Could you fill our your system specs or let us know what you are currently using...

you can always upgrade to a IB computer(motherboard+cpu maybe ram)

i rather be happy now then later. thats why i chose to get my SB :]
i heard you can even just replace the CPU O_O cuz it fits in 1155 (IB)
What do you do with your computer?

Also how much money did you want to spend?

If you overclock SB will be fine, you'll be able to easily hit 4.5Ghz. IB should offer some clock speed and overclock advantages, I'm actually planning to sell my i5-2500k and grab a 4c/4t chip of Ivy if one comes out. Current 1155 should work with it if not oh well I'll wait for Haswell I guess.

Can you sell your current cpu/board/gpu/ram? If so how much were you looking to get for them, and does that factor into your overall budget for a new system?

I game, but not that into it. I just really waiting for Diablo 3 and a new Counter-Strike if it ever comes out.

I can spend about $1600 which is more than enough I figure.

Sorry wont sell my system, I was going to put it into another comp and maybe get a little upgrade with a new LGA 775 mobo + cpu and faster ram.
