Which SSD for read only?

Thread Starter
Im going to buy two 120GB or one 250GB SSD's which i will use for music samples, so it will be read only no writes but im not sure which brand.

Crucial M4 seems to be my top choice because of the price and performance but then some people say C300 is better.

Vertex 3 is a bit too expensive.

Intel G2 and 320 are the most reliable but a bit slower because they don't use the advantage of SATA 6Gb/s and they cost more then Crucial

Intel 510 too expensive!

Read only isn't that bad for SSD's isnt it, they get damaged mostly if you use them for the OS so i should have no isue with Crucial?

What are you doing with these music samples? I doubt you'll need SSD speeds for some music tbh.

Trust me i need it, it's a massive sample library and most of people who use it use SSD's for it, even the producers of the library it self use them and recommend them. I will compose music with them of course, so they will be used a lot and loaded every time i open a project.
