Double BIOS splash screen - Asus P8P67 Pro

Thread Starter
Everytime I boot up, it takes a while and it shows one splash screen for a fair amount of time, then nothing, then another splash screen for a shorter period of time, then starts loading up windows. In the gap it used to show the marvell controller screen but I have nothing plugged in there so i've disabled it in the BIOS. Is there a way to make the splash screen only show up once and take less time?
