I agree. I asked a handful of people if they see what i'm seeing but they said they do and it doesn't annoying or bother them. It's all about preference and I guess i'm on the picky side.

Places like microcenter have both the Apple Cinema Display and U2711. The one by me had them but neither were turned on..

People like you are guilty for telling me to buy an IPS with a bad finish.
go around the forum and say your opinion whitout specify that is only your opinion but many people have this big issues, for you the dell, LG, or NEC, or other IPS brand have any problem.

AG coating on the U2410 is not that bad. If your monitor is 3 inches from your face, it might be bad. From 2 feet away, you won't notice the AG.

I hate glossy monitors. Nothing worse than to code all day long and see reflections and glare.

u2410 is other monitor
0.27 pixel pitch in 16:10 is good for read, but u cant say that its coating is not noticeable, is still harsh, but this can cause difficoult to some users, TN and VA monitors have not this issue specially the VA, the principal specific of next PLS panel by samsung will the light AG coating as his PVA products.
Have u ever seen U2311H ?
