The mounting seems pretty complicated unlike the apogee XT , im gonna spring for the optional backplate but you still need washers and all that?

or

Ive heard of the nickel plating issues with EK, but since this one is full on copper, its okay right?

The best bang for your buck right now is the XSPC Rasa, though if you want the absolute best temps, go with the Aquacomputer Cuplex Kryos HF. Koolance/EK copper/Heatkiller are still viable options, though.

its okay as in it wont be subject to nickle corrosion yes, but I personally would hold off on EK until RR's tests come in. If it ends up they they are using a low quality Cu or something then all their blocks are kinda meh imo. That and personally I wouldn't support a company with the kind of customer service they showed in the beginning of this whole debacle, although now they are paying for shipping, its still too little to late in many peoples eyes...

Yeah I would recommend getting a Koolance CPU-370 Liquid Cooling Extreme CPU Block just like Greenback said, they seem to be one of the best.

I did also request an AC Kryos sample a while back, but never heard back from them so I'm not sure I'll get to that one.
I believe Aquacomputer Cuplex Kryos HF is currently the best temps, although its restrictive.

Here's a water block shootout its still being worked on as well

Thermaltake Bigwater !!!!!

j/k

XSPC Rasa, Koolance 370, Aquacomputer Kryos, HK 3.0, Swiftech XT v.2, Ek (yes) copper Supreme HF variants. All come really close to each other, just pick the one you like.
