Extremely high temps.

Thread Starter
So, I just finished building my new rig and I also install the RS360 kit.
When I was looking at my bios(ASRock Z68 Extreme4), it said the CPU temp was at 93c.
I'm not sure why it would be so high. I am doing a push/pull on the rad, and I did install the waterblock correctly. But, out of curiosity, how far are you suppose to spin down those springs?
I did apply MX4 TIM. Put a pea-size dot in the middle and used a credit card to wipe across the surface completely.

Can you post a picture of how you have it installed. Sounds like you may still have air in the loop possibly though.

Is the pump plugged and working ?
Is the reservoir full ?

Are you sure you removed the clear plastic cover from waterblock? If you don't know it's there you'll never see it I know because I made the mistake

Yes, pretty sure that I removed that plastic. The res is as full as I can get it. It is plugged in, and when I had to leak test it, it had seemed to be running then.
Is there something in particular I should be looking for when checking to see if the pump is actually working?

There is the plastic it is covered in and also a piece that only covers the cpu contact area. Might want to double check Its hard to see if you don't know it's there.

I'm pretty positive I remember removing that. I'll post pics of the set up quick.

Looks like your resevoir is low you only want a very small area at top empty. At least in a couple of the pics it did.
