It depends what's your TJ max,Intel has 90-100 C.
Download cpu-z and tell us what's your TJ max and if it's 70 you are in trouble.

Get new fans for your case? It all depends on how you have your system set up.

In my experience its not that great, its small and cramped, and gets dusty fast, even with filters.

It seems like you should have decent case airflow so ambient temps shouldn't be much of a problem. Take off the heatsink, clean off thermal paste real well, reapply thermal paste and reinstall the heatsink. If that doesn't solve the idle temps, I suggest getting a new heatsink.

53 isn't that bad if that's 100% load. But if your gaming at only like 50% cpu usage that's pretty high. I am assuming you would go over 55 degrees at 100% load so you probably need a new cooler.

I am really like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus. I idle around 28 degrees, and load temp is 46. I think the Cooler Master HAF 912 case helps a lot with temps though as well.
