Corsair RAM help ?

Thread Starter
So I currently have 6GB of Corsair Dominator memory . I really need an upgrade but I have no clue if this is compatible.

I am thinking of buying a 12gb kit of Dominator Modules . 3x4b .

Soo in total I would have 18gb ? Need some final thoughts before I buy

Thanks ! Really app it !

No you can't have it you have to have the same type of ram.
So right now you have 6 RIGHT????? AND YOUR BUYING A 3X4 6 isn't a multiple of 4 so you cant have these all together maybe find another set of a 4 stick and combine it to get a 16 gb.

I don't see why you would have a problem as long as you get the same model/speed.

First, what is the reason for needing new ram?

Second, it is best to buy ram with the same speeds or faster, because you will need to run your new RAM at the same speeds/timings as your old ones.
