Considering macs don't use a bios I find that quite hard to believe.. lmao

What you do is use the bootcamp application to partition the drive, insert your windows disc and then simply reboot the system and it will boot the windows install disc. Then once its done insert your system disc to install the windows drivers.

hmm thanks for help, and yea screw os x, win7 all the way. well ill end up using os x more as ill only do some editing, entertainment and research/word processing on it. WIN7 on DESKTOP GGGGGG

Correct. Windows 7 is still a fine choice if you want but the SSD is much more important. Lion looks pretty neat.

yee im piss poor right now, so ill have to live with the 5400rpm till i get a job, hopefully this summer cos i had other things in mind (bf3 project computer) and iphone 5 but dang,, cant wait for macbook pro!!!

You could buy a Seagate Momentus. That should hold you over until you can buy a SSD and it will give a good speed boost over the 5400.
