Cause clicking on one icon to play your game is so hard.

Explain the difference from a business perspective, not your personal preferences.
From a business point of view? Sure.

My customers have been using Steam for 8 years. Even if they only buy a couple games a year, they may have around a library of 30+ games. This is a convenient tool for them to use, even though I do not own it.

I have put out a new competing service. I would like to entice people over, so I remove games from the service they have been using in order to force them to use my service.

From a customer perspective: I will not use a competing service because the reason Steam is so great is because I have all my games in one place, along with all of my friends, so I will not be buying that game.

My thoughts also. I have games from Steam, D2D, EA and retail. Ya, it would be nice to have them all in one place, but I buy where the deals are not the convenience. I'd rather save money if the deals are good. Believe it or not, EA has some good sales every now and then also. Plus, having Steam and Orgin running at the same time on your PC is not going to kill it.

The majority of the profits still go to EA if someone buys a game through Steam, it just may be a buck or two short of what they normally get. But guess what? It's still a sale.

Also, Crysis 2 would have sold better PC sales if they didn't make the PC version crap.
Also correct. You make good points. But Steam doesn't sell a ton of copies unless it's CoD, their own IP or a Steam sale with deep discounts.

30 million users doesn't translate to 1-3M+ copies sold for EA with each of their titles.
If it did, they would stay on Steam. Valve makes good money on Steam but PC sales still pale in comparison to console, even with Valve's large user base.

Don't allow double standards. You may not like EA doing for this, but they have every right to do so.
They'll probably sell it cheaper than Valve in the future also.
It is completely different because we are accustomed to Steam and don't want to use two different clients for no reason.
