BF2 came out before EADM even existed.
^Implying that you would have used EAM.

I'm all for competition but when a product name has become synonymous with a product then the competition is done. I'm sorry. Seriously. Look at iPods, Frisbee's, Kleenex, Yo-Yo, Coke, Band-aids, Xerox, Kool Aid, Aspirin. I could go on. You see the point.

You can enter the market but don't QQ when your product doesn't do that well or people refuse to use it.

Same thing with camera lenses. My friend at work has $30,000 worth of Nikon lenses. Does he go out and buy a Cannon camera? Nope. He stays with Nikon. Hell I only have a few hundred dollars in Nikon and I wouldn't switch. I have way more than that in Steam.

I have over 148 games on Steam. I refuse to use another service, since I am invested in Steam, If EA does this for all their games it will be the last time I buy an EA game.

the nikon analogy is wrong. going canon would make all your nikon lenses useless... using another download service would not make your steam games useless.

have u ever seen me say that? i've said before that i want BF3 on steam and until there is DEFINITIVE proof that it won't EVER be, im not going to preorder through origin. as soon as that is confirmed even though i don't want to i will preorder it from origin ONLY because of the warfare and karkand expansion packs though
