Good deal?

Thread Starter
I went to Micro Center today to purchase my Intel i5 2500k, so I brought extra cash in case I saw any good deals that I didn't see online.

So basically I walked in, asked for the processor, the guy talked to me about the combo deals, I said sure show it to me, and then I walked out the door with a Asus Sabertooth P67 and an intel i5 2500k, both for $180. $400 including tax. Did I get a good deal? I thought the Asus Sabertooth was a lot better than the Asrock P67 board I was planning on buying.

Did I make the right choice? Did I get a good deal?

Thanks!

Also here's a pic cause I'm bored, or incase I named the parts wrong.

It looks like something I was originally going to go with, but then went bigger on the MoBo, great deal.

You got an allright deal. Paid about 500 two months ago for my i7 and sabertooth board . Worth every penny. Overclocks pretty good. You wont be disappointed.

Go for the Noctua DH14 or ThermalRight Silver Arrow

I have a CM 212+ and it does just fine.

I would say venomous X, Noctua D14 or Silver Arrow will get the job done, it also depends on the chip and how many volts you have to pump through it.

I have two chips that can do 1.45-1.485v at 50x multi (5ghz) and batch numbers don't mean a thing on SB
