Case fan RPM too low?

Thread Starter
I have one fan pulled from the Corsair H50 and I'm using it as a case fan, but the thing is, the speed of the fan is too low, can't let it either (BIOS can't do it) I was wondering if there is any program that would let me set the fan speed.

Thanks!

that fan has a low rpm built in. It does not go that fast...... however if you would liek to test it plug it straight into a molex 12 plug and watch how fast slow it spins

It's weird because its not going any higher then 450RPM.

It might have a temperature sensor built in, like those Arctic Cooling fans? That's my guess anyway.

Most likely, because when you put a finger or stop the fan from moving the fan will
stop current to the motor. I think those kinds of fans have multiple sensors,my guess that it is normal.
