Mine Craft Server Error - Page 3

Server.properties is just a file that loads some values.

#Minecraft server properties
#Fri Jun 17 22:52:44 MST 2011
level-name=world
allow-nether=true
view-distance=10
spawn-monsters=true
online-mode=true
spawn-animals=true
max-players=20
server-ip=
pvp=true
level-seed=
server-port=25565
allow-flight=false
white-list=false

It's not the world file. The world it was actually in would have been the MCR files found in DIMM-1/Region but when I tried to load those it just wouldn't open.

It's not the world file, but you use it to load the world.
See that entry called level-name? that tells the server which world to use (from memory the name should be the name of a world folder in the same folder as the server.properties file). ymmv with ramdisks, of course.
