I introduce a new mx black switch mech keyboard, The CM Storm Trigger - Page 5

The blackwidow does not have NKRO

It also has blues.

These are things, that in most informed peoples opinions, make the steelseries 6gv2 and 7g preferrable for gaming to the BW.

His statement that all have NKRO was wrong.

To be honest, imo, there is no such thing as a "gaming switch" period. I think you just have to try all of them out and whatever one you prefer is best for you, is your "gaming switch."

Not agreeing with you doesn't mean I have an issue with you.

QUOTE=kovboi;14037838]as you said earlier, these are features that all modern mech keyboards bear in common. [/QUOTE]

Please re-read what I wrote in my first post. I never said NRKO is implemented in ALL mechanical keyboards. Anyway where are you going with this?

I never said you can't be interested in gaming features just because you are only a casual gamer. Im arguing that features like NRKO and low actuation point ARE gaming features. If they benefit gamers then they could be argued as being gaming features. They are also mechanical keyboard features but that doesn't mean they can't be gaming features.

You can say that macro keys and backlighting are more important for you as a gamer but that doesn't make the features i mentioned any less gaming features. I can only roll my eyes and say that those features won't actually benefit you if want to improve your gaming skills unlike NRKO, consistensy in keypress and low actuation

Appearently my point didn't get across...

Thats irrelevant. Just because you can disable it that way doesn't make it any less of a gaming feature in the 6gv2 and 7g

Did anyone say that blackwidow have NKRO and using other switches than blue switches? Neither did anyone state that all(all mechanical keyboards?) have NKRO...

He seemed to interpret your message as if he understood that all mechanicals have NKRO

And I just reminded him that it had blues, which are not ideal for gaming.

I wouldn't say cherry blues isn't ideal for gaming because alot of people can use them fine just like me i pretty much played every game out there and haven't had a problem at all and i prefer them to, Same goes for nkro i had a Xarmor before my black widow ut which was nkro and so far i don't miss that feature at all ever sense i went too the black widow.

Been using the black widow ut for like 6months now with no problems at all.

I might have too give The CM Storm Trigger a try tho sense i am looking too try a cherry brown switch keyboard and too me the looks is ok to me.

But ya when you get a mech keyboard you always want too get more.... lol
