so would 1.65v rated ram be a bad thing for my mobo considering it says 2x1.5v? Sorry about all the question just dont want to make any mistakes

No. You can't guarantee anything over 1333 without an OC unless the BIOS says so, but 1.65v shouldn't be a problem. Many today can support a RAM ratio that supports 1600 and, with that, 1.65v.

All you have to do is avoid 1.8v+ DDR3 and you will be golden.

Oh, yeah. You're good to go, dude. But I'd still get a pair of 1600 or better and try to set some brutal timings at 1333.

Oh so i can get higher than what my mobo supports? it says 1333mhz(o.c) on the site.

Any chance i can have a quick rundown of what you mean Returned?

I use that on my p55 system right now, it doesn't post at 1.5 volts though, It needs 1.65 like the P55 chipset specifies. I am not worried about running "extra" volts because its fine.

Mine is rated at 1600 with 9-9-9--27 timings, but I run them at 2000 @ 8-10-9-28 timings. I can almost get the same performance from the same set at 1600 @ 6-8-6-25. There's a ram thread that can explain it better than me, but you can go beyond what your board is rated at. It depends on what your FSB can go to with your highest ram ratio and still be stable with all your other OC's,
