Try the demo, It couldn't keep my attention more than 30 minutes, but a lot of people like it, so you might as well check it out.

It's a solid MMO, I never got into it because of the fee. Moderation is key; those who complain about gaining weight don't deserve a PC.

No, the only part I found enjoyable was the PvP (ie: arena, and yes I was in high end raiding guilds before). Got gladiator a few times back in BC and ever since wotlk the game has gone downhill. I quit for a while in wotlk then figured I would try the game again in cata. They cater to the casuals too much and make things easier and easier for people and makes it unrewarding for people who put in time. The arena system now is worse than ever and I along with many others sold their accounts.

tldr:save yourself some time and money and pick a better hobby.

I've been playing since day 1, scarab lord, grandmarshal.. buncha other titles, every possible gear you can think of.. game is addicting, but all of this nolife nerd crap is just... nonsense If you know how to live your life its fine LOL I love when people say WoW is for nolifers etc

Game is pretty much dead now, I stopped playing (dead for me, will be interesting for you)

Just have to take it in moderation. You can easily lose hours in that game.
This. You can have alot of fun, without being all serious into it Still I have been there myself(raiding being a pressure), but now it's casual play and replay of old content.

If you have a lot of time and money on your hands, why not?

Yes it most definitely is. I've been playing since beta and I still love it just as much to this day.

Just be prepared to try several different classes till you figure out what your play style is. Some people like to sit back away from the action and pew pew (shoot/cast/throw) some people like to be up front and take all the stress (tank classes), where some people like to take it a little easier and be a healer (only stressful when your group does something stupid)

He has gained 40 pounds in a school year. It's remind me one episode of the South Park.
