Your June Foldathon goal - Page 5

Thread Starter
11,351 so far. I'm on track to hit 50K. We'll see if I can squeeze out the 55K I'm aiming for. I had to back down to 3.684 gHz on the 1090T as I started to get stability issues though.

why is it that I can fold for weeks on this OC with no problem but suddenly now it decided to be unstable? I've already dropped two WU's on my smp today....*sigh*

EDIT: OMG why foldathon gods? WHY? my gpu which has likewise been folding for weeks with no problem has just dropped 2 consecutive WU's

grrr I get up this morning to find one of my rigs was 'Windows updated' and failed to restart properly (3k lost) and one of my GTS 450s has be stuck trying to send a WU for most of the night.

So even though I have bits of IT kit everywhere I think I'm gonna miss my 50k target, and we're only a quarter of the way through

While it sucks that you had trouble sending a wu, i'm glad it wasn't just me. My 460 took 45 min to finally send its wu a few hours ago.

It didn't happen to be server 171.64.65.64 did it? Other people are having issues uploading to that one. I've had problems in the past with that server too.

not sure - how can I check? I managed to get the unit to send by restarting the client this morning, but that gives me a new .log file that only goes back as far as the restart. Is there another log somewhere?

Are you looking at the log in a monitoring program like HFM.NET or the actual .txt log file?

There should be two log files in your GPU directory: FAHlog.txt and FAHlog-Prev.txt. Try having a look at either of those to find the IP of the server the WU was sent to.

will see if I can get to the Previous file then (not in front of the system at the moment, so I've only checked the cached HFM log that is accessible from the HFM web pages).

That's the one I always have issues with if one of my units doesn't send. Restarting the client or using the -send all flag usually fixes it. Sucks when it happens over night and you loose 7+ hours of folding .
