[AmazonWireless] AT&T HTC Surround--Windows Phone 7 $0.01 - Page 3

I'd probably bite if AT&T hadn't been consistently overcharging me for my DSL. I've had nothing but hassle since I began doing business with them. They tell you one thing in the store and on the phone and then the bill comes in and they charge 3 times the quoted price. I call and supposedly get everything fixed and then the bill comes in and they are still overcharging me.

I signed up for $19.95/month and they keep charging me $45/month plus $15/month extra for a static IP address that I never requested and don't actually get.

Are you making jest at WP7? Because I've never used a better phone OS than wp7. My HTC Trophy is amazing.

I don't like being stuck into a new contract for another 1-2 years and I especially don't like adding another $15 to my existing service.

I'm sure this is a good deal for some just not me atm. :*(

LOL

I've had ATT DSL for over a year now... It was supposed to be $15 for 3 months... It's STILL $15... Thank you ATT.

So don't think they are using the excuse of inefficiency to rip you off, their inefficiency is ripping them off too

But really though, do you understand how I could use a smart phone with no data plan? I feel like a lot of people think I'm crazy when I say it (and I can see why) but there are loads of things to do that don't require network access.

Sadly, I'll probably end up caving and just paying the stupid $15/month eventually. I'll hold out as long as I can though.
Yes, I understand where you're coming from. But in all honestly, there are going to be a few occassions where you are not in range of WiFi and you want to read the news, browse OCN, or whatever it may be. 200 MB would suffice for that.

Verizon, in the US. It just came out 2 weeks ago. Never been happier with a phone (: HTC makes quality phones in general (well batterly life tends to be meh but still). I hate the sense UI though so I'm so happy MS doesn't let any 3rd party UI's on WP7.

Before buying this phone I saw the Trophy and I liked it. To my disappointment it wasn't out yet, nor would it be available on AT&T.

WP7 does have that manufacturer-specific hub thing though. HTC Hub? I never use it anyways.

Yeah, uninstalling that was the first thing I did when I got my phone.
