Tighten up those PCI-E power cables a bit and it's gonna be perfect.

I have some questions for you. How is the AX850 holding up with your MSI Lightnings in SLI?

Is the AX850 quiet during heavy gaming/high load?

I have the same cards and I just switched cases (Silverstone FT02). My old Corsair Hx1000w handles them well but it is a noisy psu and I am looking for something quieter.

The AX850 gets good reviews but I’m just not sure whether it is enough for my system.

I monitor my system power loads when in heavy 3d gaming and it can spike at 600-700w.
The AX850 is doing great with my lightnings. I personally can't hear it but my gpus make a good racket when under heavy load (got them clocked to 940mhz @ +125mV). This psu got the approval of phaedrus and tator tot over in the psu section for my build so I'm confident its totally adequate...

Sweet setup Majin!

I just received my GTX580 Lightning the other day and have been having lots of fun overclocking and playing with the voltages. These things are rock solid and fairly quiet for me so far. Alot quieter than my old GTX280 when playing games anyway =)

I'm currently sitting on an OC of 950/1900(?)/2300 (not sure on the shader clock) with just +50mV and it's performing quite well.

I need to get 3D mark benches going...

Thats a great OC! I'm stuck at 930MHz for mine at the moment but I believe SLI makes them harder to OC. I'm still working on it....

Nice build man. I was really torn between the white 600T and the HAF-X. I love it though!

Hi,

First off I saw your build on both Tom's Hardware and OC and thought your rig was beautiful!
Secondly thank you for going through the trouble of making a build log/thread it was really helpful!
And lastly I was wondering if I could ask

a) how happy you are with the H60 (would you pick a different one in hindsight?)
b) how noisy is your CPU cooler
c) how noisy is your computer in general
d) does it produce alot of heat?

Thanks in advance, and just wanted to say I appreciate your rig/build thread as I thought it was quite helpful!
