Like others have pointed out:
The contract breech was between Crytek and Valve, not EA and Valve.
EA isn't at fault here, Crytek is in violation of Valve rules. DICE could be also, thus no BF3 pre-order yet.

Crysis 2 DLC is bought in game, Steam doesnt get a piece of that. If they recently rewrote the rules for Free to play games to sell through that. Perhaps they said hey crysis 2, you need to sell your DLC through us in a shop, or else we wont let you sell it.
This seems to be possible with EA saying recent rule changes forced steam to remove the product. Then the fact that The new crysis map pack just came out now and we have the problem.
Alice has also gone missing. Anyone own it know if DLC is purchased in game, similar to crysis? Alice is currently available on origin with the original free.
This theory is plausible, but I'll have to wait until we know which rules were violated.
It better not be DLC profits, or that will be the most greedy move in a long time.Edited by WorldExclusive - 6/15/11 at 4:31pm
