Probably, that is their rule if you make a mod and Steam asks for it to be put on their servers for distribution. They ask you to remove it from your site and publish all updates through Steam.

Crysis 2 was **** and i was REALLY disappointed with DA2. I am hope Bioware will redeem themselves with DA3. Mass Effect has been the only real success console port recently EA has had.

Saying all this they have spent over a billion developing ToR. Battlefield 3 is the PC FPS flagship for 2011. I understand what you are saying but it is not like EA has turned their back on PC gamers. Few companies EA's size can be dominant without focusing on console gamers. Blizzard can do it since they have Activision to focus on console sales.

Oh they did, for a long time. They just all of a sudden decided to turn around and they've got egg on their face.

Gabe's got his head stuck so far up a jelly doughnut he can't see strait. He needs to sit in the corner for a while.

I just don't trust EA to provide PC content on its PC service. I'll just be more of the same, plus it'll be bloated with BS. facebook, twitter and loads of other crap.

I'm going to SLI 470's and play BF3. Then I'm out. That's the last game I'm buying for myself. Good luck guys, and don't forget to ask for your reach around.

All of those other games aren't featured on Origin. I thought people would have understood this by now, people on other forums do. The new rules seem to restrict using Origin as a "featured" digital distributor. Crysis 2 and Alice were featured on Origin. Alice is back on Steam, and Crysis 2 will be soon. And this thread can die with the idiots posts in it.

Seriously though, more pc users might would actually embrace Origin if EA hadn't been giving us all the shaft all these years.
It's 100% real. Dead Space 2 came out and on the SP side, a lot of the extras from consoles weren't available on PC, like the suits and guns you were supposed to get for beating the game. Even the HandCannon which was supposed to be a reward for beating the game on Nightmare mode ( only 3 saves available ) wasn't available. It was weeks and there was no fix, then out of the blue an anonymous member of the Dev team posted a game save in the steam forums that not only gave you the handcannon but also gave you EVERY single piece of special gear and exclusive DLC the game ever offered.

On the MP side, Dead Space 2 was a wreck. It was impossible to communicate with people and form a strategy since text rolled so damn slow. If you had a mic it was ALWAYS on so that was more annoying than helpful. The servers were trash and would disconnect you randomly every 20seconds to 1 hr max. There was no sort of intelligent match making so you could end up with a group of newbies fighting a group of pros for maps on end. There was no way to pick your servers, everything was random, so more times than not you ended up in a foreign server with absolutely horrible ping.

So self righteous....what are you like 18? If you're anything around 30 you'll remember that for most of PC gaming's life, major devs for console rarely EVER made games for PC. Name a hit on console or arcades from 1990 through 2002 and it's 90% likely that PC gamers never got it. Yeah we had a nice little run going from 2003-2007 where we got the best stuff but get over it. It is simply not economically feasible for devs, given that we pirate more than we buy, there are a million +1 hardware configurations for PC to deal with and we demand the absolute best of the best and anything that falls short is fail. As a group, we view releases as 'black or white' so much that it's sickening.

Its like half of PC gamers act like they eat caviar off of $100 crackers and have toilet paper made of cash.

Is this why I can't play my game? If so, I want my 60 bucks back.
