[GB] Crysis 2 Removed from Steam NOT because of 'Origin' - Page 5

It is still too early to place blame on any one party. We don't know what the agreement was, we don't know when the new terms were submitted and went into effect, etc.

If this is such a big thing, why are no other large developers' games missing? If these terms were so terrible, I'm sure we'd be hearing about it from other groups. I'm still guessing that EA used this 'reason' to get out of selling on Steam...

It still seems like we aren't getting the whole story. There are a ton of games available on Steam, D2D, Impulse, etc. so I wonder what was so limiting about the Crysis 2 deal? And how does that deal affect other games like Alice: Madness Returns?

EA Loyalists lolol.

I've never even bought a game on EA Store.... Yet.

I'm a Steam user as well, I just don't have any issues with using another online retailer.

I just find it funny how people are quick to point fingers, when in reality it was the other way around.

I mean people over the original thread are still talking how this is EA's fault hahahahahaha.

why can i buy battlefield 3 right now on direct2drive, but not steam.

it seems pretty clear to me that steam is trying to push things they shouldnt. they dont feel their slice of the pie is big enough.

Maybe this is what EA wanted. This is just a blame game after all. It is presumptuous of you to believe you were the fly on the wall when this happened.

Crysis 2 can be purchased everywhere else but Steam.
BF3 can be purchased everywhere else but Steam.

When stuff like this happens, it's about money. Whether EA wants more revenue for their games or Steam doesn't like the presence of Origin, it was and it's still Steam decision not to carry those games.

Steam is preventing their users from buying EA games. Where's the petition for that?
But Steam fanboys will give them a pass once again.

hahahahahahahah.

here it comes, the big conspiracy theory by EA to get steam to remove crysis and other EA games so that EA could have all EA's games to itself on Origin. Oh wait, i can still buy EA games on other download services. Damn EA foiled EAs plot against itself and the world.

Exactly. It's still EA's fault. Such idiots. Sheep is what I call them.
Steam pulls games, EA is still the blame.

How about, let see....buy from someone else that wouldn't deny their users of games.
