i5-750 extremely sluggish

Hi

My sig rig is extremely slow, it feels really glitchy wen just browsing or using explorer. its as if usage pikes randomly.
its running at stock nd even tried it at different overclock levels nd still feels the same.
i had sp1 install nd not long after installing it, it started happening but i also got a new mobo at that time(current 1), then unistalled sp1 nd still same so i reformatted completely, nd seemed better at first but not for long.

any idea wat it could be, mobo or cpu maybe?

Open up task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and look at what processes are eating the most CPU cycles or memory.

Havent done a hd test what can i use to test it.
and pc feels slow even at 1-5% usage and 1.4gb ram usage of 4gb.
cpu alternates between firefox nd googletalk 1 to 2% usage nd seems slow
even just browsing the net it freezes for a spilt second randomly.
using ie9 nd mozilla 3.6 bcoz 4 was really sluggish.

That sounds like a memory related issue. Run this for an hour or two and see what happens.
