Do you like quick kills? - Page 4

I preferred Halo 3, I was quite good and enjoyed being able to out shoot anyone no matter who got the first shot in. MW was frustrating for me at first, I felt like people would always get a lucky spray shot on me and I'd die. But after playing it a bit more I've picked up how to avoid easy deaths.

I also prefer a larger map size, the Halo maps and movement abilities allow for a greater variety of creativity with your routes to getting kills. I loved taking a quick short cut and cutting off an enemy, ME maps are too corridor-ish.

I guess it depends on the game. An old game I used to play, Command & Conquer Renegade, was probably much slower paced. It had less damage per bullet than many other games (and I can't be sure since I didn't know the technical mechanics, but I don't think the bullets always went in the perfect straight line where you were aiming, at least the tracers visibly reflected that they didn't). Yet, this slower pace worked there though, because the game mode/purpose wasn't deathmatch, and you were also often fighting across variable (often longer) distances. I guess it depends on the game's mode/style. I'm generally not a fan of "die in an instant" games though.

This.

Makes it so it is more of a skill based game, instead of who got the first shot off.

Also eliminates camping since you don't need to worry about getting shot in the back.

RtCW/ET are my favorite FPSs of all time, so I prefer the long kills. In the end though, if there's large gaps in skill, the skilled person will still kill off the less-skilled in a burst of fire. Whereas if the gap is close, 2 people could be at it for 2 or 3 magazines. lol.

I prefer taking lots of shots but having side effects to the shots ie. speed loss, vision loss, hearing loss. Just like it is in BC2. Lets you laugh at the enemies as they painfully die instead of in Black Ops where it's 1 shot and you're dead.

One shot in the right spot should do it. I like the CS:S method.

usually i would say the more realistic the better.... but i dunno.

This, IRL if you are shot you are combat inneffective (generally)

That being said I do like game that take multiple shots to kill you if they make sense in the context of the story (ie Shields in Halo etc.)
