Nice but the white looks very out of place. Switch it to black or better yet, orange tube and it should blend in quite well.

Nice setup thumb.gif. Are you keeping the side fan?

Its an awesome case for water cooling. You can fit a 360mm, 420mm, or a 400mm (dual 200mm) radiators on top or bottom or both. The front can easily swallow a 240mm or 360mm and if you find the right one, you can also squeeze in a 280mm or 420mm. There's plenty of space for reservoirs and pumps inside as well. All in all, its a great water cooling canvas.

Also, if you plan it properly, its a good air cooler as well.

I bet if they offered it in white and made it a solid window it would sell like Hot Cakes. tongue.gif

Thanks, I do plan to replace it with a Corsair AF140... but the screws mounting it are so tight I'm going to have to drill them out mad.gif.... now where's my dremal thinking.gif

I'm also holding off changing the colored ring on the top fans as I've ordered a new cooler for my HD6990 (damn I hate the stock cooler). Then I can work out the best color to use.

btw, it was fun cabling 2 SSD's, 8 HDD's & 1 ODD tongue.gif

Well after plowing through first 50 pages I was sold on Elysium.
So my Haf X will go to the honorable stand of cases in my basement as soon as this baby arrives ( in 2 days).
Now I have but one question: Can I mount ODD on the very top bay ? I've read that there seems to be a restriction problem. But is it possible to do a tigh-ish fit without breaking anything ?
Reason why I'm asking is that I'm planning to run two 360 rads one on top, one on the front, and as I understand it 360 takes 9 bay spaces so that leaves 3 - two will have to go to the xspc res, so that leaves one, and I would like to fit that optical disk drive on top.

Unfortunately, if you plan to stick in a 360mm radiator in the drive bays, you''ll have three left which is what one hdd cage requires. What are you planning to cool? A great 360 + 240 will do a very nice job with even the most extreme setups using multiple gpu. Rule of thumb, 120mm rad for every water block. Even an awesome rad like the UT60 can cool a cpu and gpu loop. Let us know what you're needing and we can suggest a few things.

Also, click on your name on the top right corner (your profile). go to the very bottom and edit your computer specs. add your components. this will auto appear in your posts.

The Elysium is an awesome case, especially for water cooling.

Well I was planning to do it this way:
mount my PSU at the bottom, take the hdd cages out, take one out completely, move the second one next to the psu, and mount the rad in the front ( EX360 on top and RX front)

Cooling:
i7 3930k @ 4.6
3x7970s

currently they're running on EX360 + 140mm slim + RX120, but it's a super tight fit for HAFX, and I would like some extra rad space to feel comfy

you could get one of these slim odd drives that would work.
