Maybe, if someone is running some wild setup, like three Monsta rads:D
Good point though, since most modern cases, like the Elysium, have provision for outside air intake for the psu. But it probably isn't an issue with rmorse27's build.
I guess when I finally get my TJ07 finished, with the 480 rad in the bottom, I should make sure my 1250 psu has its fan facing outward!

Water + psu = no bueno frown.gif

I don't risk it. The Elysium is properly vented below so I just don't take the risk. I'm running about 1.5L of liquid, so its just a precautionary step for my build smile.gif

Thought it was a different issue other than water,I have only had 1 major leak over the past 10 years of water cooling and it was a stupid mistake on my part I forgot to connect the fitting between the 2 cards and started the pump only and what a flood,I did fry my water supply but that's only because I didn't really wait long enough for it to dry out.Plus the real reason its up is because with it facing down it puts some strain on the 24 pin connector.Appreciate you concern dude I live on the edge x fingers.

Yeah, most common reason ppl flip the psu is to route short cables.

Besides water, I'm always tinkering with my build so I'm afraid of small screws or other debris falling int there.

Your mod looks awesome though thumb.gif

I didn't realize you were referring to the potential problem of a leak in the system either, I thought you were referring to the psu pulling in the hot air within the case. That's why I joked that three Monsta rads could be a problem, due to their heat output.
Having said that, I'd like your opinion as to whether it would be beneficial having my psu intake fan facing the 480 Monsta in the TJ, as opposed to facing outward, keeping in mind that they will be sitting side by side in the bottom of the case. There will only be about 20mm of clearance between them.

Water should hopefully drip down but if the fans from the rad catches some, it'll spray into the psu. That would happen if the rad was bad or punctured. Most leaks occur at the port and/or fittings.

Overall, I don't like possibility of something falling in there.
