Hmmm....I thought the 670 wasn't quad sli capable thinking.gif. Last I heard, Nvidia said only the 680 and 690 can quad. Maybe that's a Phyx card. Also could be four 660Ti.

I don't understand the thought of the new CSQ design from EK doesn't make sense to me at all,why have fittings just on bottom of block just don't get it.I went with the Aquacompter FX block instead for my GTX680 still don't get the CSQ design.

in response to your comment gtx 670 can do quad sli ever since 301.42 drivers and scaling is pretty good at 2560x1600 on my LG W3000H. see the pic of confirmed gtx 670 in quad sli will upload more soon

as further validation here is my 3d mark 11 x score with quad 670's (note over clocked not at stock) a higher score than stock gtx 690's in quad sli (note i hope to break the 12,000 barrier with a new motherboard getting the asus rampage 4 x79)

You can fit a 3.5" HDD vertically in the indentation, if you use a Green series it will work fine without cooling, if your drive has the breathing hole on the bottom (under the PCB, i.e. WD Green/Raptor/Black) you could bolt it with the top cover touching the steel frame (i.e. PCB facing out) to get better passive cooling, using L-shaped bars.

To easily mount a slim-line ODD vertically you have to drill a 128x13 mm (1/2"x5") hole (size of a standard slim-line ODD bezel) on the front steel frame (i.e. the one the plastic front panel attaches to), then drill a small slot on the front aluminum curved plate (and rear plastic). For data connection drill a hole on the back column where the ATA/SATA connector is. Using L-shaped bars and 2 mm (1/12") screws place it so that the front almost touches the front panel once it is on. I'm afraid you won't be able to use the front screw mounts on the ODD, otherwise you could enlarge the frame hole and protrude L-bars out (they'll always be covered by the front plastic panel). wink.gif

Compared to your air Conversion a while ago... wth.gif

smile.gif I did like air cooling. Its a fun challenge. I don't like the gpu, its limited and a lot of work and money to make it cool. Water cooling the gpu was a no brain er tbh.

From what I see, a 360 Radiator leaves you with 3x5.25" bays (a 2-bay reservoir and a Fan controller is what I'd like there)
Would this work alright?
modded.jpg
I want to stealth the button-less DVD drive in the vertical aluminium strip, and the HDD in the indent in the 5.25" column.
Would the HDD overheat without any cooling?

Go external. I bought a usb 3.0 external 5.25 enclosure for $25. I rarely use my odd anymore so it was no brainer for me to remove it to make way for one hdd cage and the Monsta 360. You can probably stuff a 480.. radiator in there if you relocate the hdd cage or get creative in installing the hdd or ssd (like where the tool clips go).

Well, they pretty much wanted to reinvent themselves after their disastrous nickel issues. They went ahead and simplified their bridge system as I too agree the old one was a bit too complex (but works wonders once you mastered it biggrin.gif). HK has the best and simplest bridge system around and its also inexpensive thumb.gif

Awesome thumb.gif. I swore I read a news thread that they were limiting it on the 670. As impressive as the 670 is, I fell in love with the 7970s and I hope to upgrade to four of them when prices are down in the near future smile.gif.

Great scores! Submit them in the 3dMark11 scores thread:

Great work guys you make this great case shine. Mine is on the way and I am going with 420 on the top and 480 in front.
My previous WC setups were quiet basic but now I plan to go dual pump + GPU, and I realise that draining/filling mechanism might be useful. Could you share some design ideas and pictures how you do it exactly?
Thanks.

This might not Help you in the Drain line Department but this is what i did for a Dual Loop

First is the Cpu Drain right off the Pump Inlet. Works Great.

Now the Cpu loop pump is spun 180 degrees and the GPU loop Drain is this. Doubles as the Fill Port Too.

Good Luck ,, Just Try to Keep your Drain Fitting at the Lowest part of your Loop and you will be fine. Let Gravity do the Work. thumb.gif
