The bottom line was to help you clean up the loop that's all.

Just realized: Visit a hardware store on a trip to America ... I reckon that's pretty sad, even for this forum's standards biggrin.gif

Y'all don't have many places over there to get good deals on computer hardware? Maybe we are lucky as we do have neweeg, NCIX, Frozen cpu, xoxide, and microcenter (just found out about them) to list just a few. I do know that I have saved hundreds upon hundreds by looking around for deals and sales at these places! Got my Antec kuhler 920 for 69 at NCIX, Zalman Z11 HF1 for 59 at newegg, and my Powercolor radeon HD 6850 for 99 at NCIX all on sale just to name a few. Of course, I have way overspent at times too but within these stores, you can almost find what you need on sale if you are a lil patient. It's just too bad that Newegg and Geeks.com don't deliver internationally because they would get alot more business.

For pc cooling Sidewinder computers, jab-tech, performance-pcs, frozen-cpu, and xoxide are great.

I do love x-oxide. That's where I found my aerocool strike-x Super Tower which is the only tower that I've personally seen that is as big as the elesium case. It's like 700mm by 300mm by 680mm or sum'n. When the old lady saw the box, she thought it was a big flat screen T.V. that we had ordered...lol.They also have alot of colorful fans and modding stuff as well. I like frozen cpu but haven't been ordering from them much or as long as the others. Here's another place that you can get great deals at sometimes if you keep a look out. They're in Indiana but have online too. I got a custom painted Cosmos from then open box for 229.00 that sum1 ordered and returned somehow?

Edit: I just wanted to also show y'all this case as well -- my son was bugging the crap outta me in March when he saw this case but it was 300 bucks back then but it's down to 99 bucks now (they must be try'n to get rid of 'em)

I think I may go ahead and surprise him with it...lol

Some of the bigger shops have a "daily dealbreaker" but more often than not it's just a small reduction and sometimes it's still cheaper in an other shop because they were overpriced to begin with. I just search around and often get my stuff from the Netherlands.
Watercooling stuff is pretty lame as well: Aquatuning (UK, NL, GER), Highflow (NL) and IT-service (BE) are pretty much the only ones.
Local, smaller PC shops are a complete disaster unless you have some weird fetish where you like to be ripped of ...

Thanks! I happened accross it when looking for an ATI/AMD Radeon logo and had to laugh after all of the time spent at school reading spy vs. spy... It does remind me of the way the cpu and cpu wars go back and forth and all of the "secrecy" involved/ As far as the case, I still couldn't believe that it was so much cheaper than just 3 months ago or so... even though it's not a really fancy coolermaster case as far as features, it's awesome for a kid to have.
