Nope, never really a concern. I mainly use the ssd(s). The hdd is just for backup and stays idle 99% of the time. Still, the pressure created by the fans should at least dissipate some of the heat, if any, ?

Well, Cooler Master really stuck it to me mad.gif. They sent me the wrong modular cables. Their chat support said they would get the right ones out but the store says out of stock frown.gif. We'll see frown.giffrown.gif

Yes...redface.gif...Surround was very demanding and my sli 590s 1.5gb of vram were a weak point. More power as well as I should have no difficulties oc'ing the 580s vs a potential death on the 590s.

Benched with some mild oc'ing on the cpu and stock gpu(s) and I beat my old triple 580 3gb maxed and cpu @ 4.9. I'm sure once oc'd and my cpu a little higher I can beat my personal best of 18.1k p-score (quad 480s + 3820).

Thanks! I'm tossing the idea around of getting a HAF XB and my elysium will either be sold or will act as a rad-box for all my water cooling gear. Not sure yet and I'm awaiting a refund so I have some time to think about it. I hacked the front i/o panel so I would need a replacement if I end up selling the big-ol girl smile.gif

Still unsure redface.gif

CM was awesome to overnight me my modular cables so I might be able to finish this rig by the weekend. I'm very impressed with their help its making it more tantalizing to go w/ the HAF XB. Still, the Elysium would make a great rad box biggrin.gif

edit: also got my NZXT extension from Amazon. I got the bundle for ~$20 w/ a 24-pin black sleeved extension, cpu, molex, sata, and one vga. Cheaper than buying them separately.

"Horizon" mb helps with the four heavy DD gpu blocks. There's no way I can go air with four gpu(s) so It would have to be water. I was thinking of doing an external rad box to hold all my gear or keep my Elysium and dedicate that to hold the rads, pump, res, and fans.

I'm still undecided so the Elysium stays for now smile.gif

Four 580's, Monsta rads, tons of brute horsepower. Amazing!
The res looks great with the blue coolant and tubing.

Thanks guys. After looking at it for a few minutes in its completed form, I would hate to switch cases. I really wanted something beefy for Surround gaming so the quads was a route for that smile.gif

So, for the moment, the Elysium stays. Might do some carbon fiber vinyl wrap or new paint.
