id say same thing, its not the cooler, its one of the fans on it that wont fit if you want to have ram in the same pc

Well that sucks.
Last thing I wanted to do was buy a cheapy heatsink. My build isn't ready for liquid cooling either (by "my build" I mean my wallet). grrrrrrr

I have to rethink this.

simplest solution would be to take the side fan off thats what I did
post #264 of 1907
Well, my GPU does have 3 fans on it.. Should be cool enough right? I'm gonna eat those words when my computer bursts into flames. Ah whatever. I'll take my chances.

in most cases the side fan changes the temps by 2-3c.... better off with a good cpu cooler
post #266 of 1907
Hey guys,

Do any of you know how much space there is between the side panel and the back of the motherboard tray? I'm having trouble finding measurements online.

When I get this case I plan on using a Thermalright Archon so no side fan for me but could any of you measure the dimensions of the side vent? I'm thinking of using magnetic/rubber fan screws to mount a fan or two near the bottom of the vent.

Thanks for any advice

I saw your build log with 2 rx360's in your elysium, and I've been thinking of doing something similar, but I'm wondering if I could fit a 420 or 480mm at the top of the case?

Thanks.

it depends on the amount of 5.25 bays and hdds your gone use but yes its doable 420 fits without any conflicts, for a 480 you would have to sacrifice the top 5.25 bay. What are you gone use in your setup and are you going single or double loop?

I'm cooling a 980x, 6990, and 6970 and I'm going to be using a single loop more than likely.
