Might as well give this thread a bump. 4 days without posts feels like an eternity in here. I was expecting this case would be more popular than this. Ah well, I suppose people aim for smaller cases instead of this hunk of steel and plastic.

How's the dust buildup with your Elysiums? The huge sidepanel fan seems to be sort of a dust magnet. Granted, the fine mesh seems to stop the big stuff but the fine grain dust seems to slip through. I suppose there's not much I can do unless I fashion a proper filter of some sort to cover the intake.

Also, I may be imagining things, but I feel that the rubber grommets in the cable management holes seem to degrade over time. I redid the cabling and the rubber feels more brittle and fragile than in the beginning, almost like it has dried up somehow. Cheap material or something.

Mine is so bad it's not even funny. Took it apart last week and spent an hour getting dust off of fans, my Mega, and most surfaces inside. I think the dust killed one of the fans in my GTX580. >.<

I'm going to put some thinner screen inside over the fans to try and lock the dust down. Might hurt the airflow a bit, but with two AP31s on the front of the HDD bays and two UK3000s on the Mega I don't think it will be a huge problem.

in the interest of following this up for anybody that googles it, the 600mm cables with the seasonic x850 will fit with PSU in the bottom of the Elysium but it's a tight fit but not unduly so.

It was a sheer delight to build my system with such space available (atx mobo and no watercooliing). It makes such a difference not being cramped and confined.

I'm ambivalent about the case, things I like, things I dislike. Given the products within the market and the price it would appear to give you value. I would have preferred zero fans and the savings obtained put into a more robust construction.

as for the dust I haven't noticed any but it has only been a week and my side fan is on the top given I've a noctua NH-D14 installed.

Yet to see any dust after a few weeks of use but I think i'll make some finer dust filters for the instake fans.

Just have to wait until the missus turns her back so I can nick some tights to cut up.

As a D14 owner I too had to put the side fan on top btw.

i can't wait to finish my build for this case. i removed the bottom dust filter since it was hurting the cooling a little for me.

I would like to see a revision of the case with the the width extended on the left side of the case if you are facing the front of the case by 5 to 10mm so you can fit a nice size 120 or 140mm rad. I'm experiencing a conflict between the h50 with two fans in push pull and with the 200mm side fan. what I would suggest is to move the side 200mm fan down a bit which would and could not interfere with a rad being there and provide better cooling for the graphic cards. The next thing is the right side panel with the 80mm fan on the backside is to extended that by 5mm so that you can put regural(normal) 25mm thick fan on that side rather then a thin 20mm fan. Last but not least would be the bottom of the case if you were to put the psu such as I on the bottom I am only able to put a 120mm fan not in the appropriate holes and have a 140mm fan in the right designated holes. but yet for cooling wise that is not a so creating of a cooling option and creates rattling with in the case unless you have rubber grommets that are cheap and put on the fans. and one more things is the 140mm back fan that comes with the case was a terrible thing to do with those tiny screws which i had to ended up stripping all four screws. and cutting most of the fan to get to them since i did not have my drill charged since that is my first and hopefully only time i would have to ever do that. i would suggest to put that fan in the white box so we can install it our selves. This is also agreed by tinytomlogan on youtube i will put the link of the video.

i love this case. cant beat the price 150 at micro center a few months back, as i dont have a pic yet but a day or two i will. i was going to get a 140mm x3 rad for the top but then i got an aquarium chiller so instead i will be removing my 240 rad..
