Although this case has everything I want in a case (and actually looks great imho!), I find myself somewhat turned off by the side window / fan.

How much of a difference does it make temp wise?

Also, could I bother someone to measure the distance from the top of the top vent to the bottom of the bottom vent (the vents above and below the side 200mm fan)?

!

I'm between this and the Cosmos II right now. This seems to have better cooling I think air wise, and some more space, but the cosmos II seems better designed and possibly quieter.

OC3D's review seemed pretty damn positive, but then during his cosmos II review he called it a cheap case, and I don't think me was referring to cost.

For now I'll wait.

Using a tape measure, from the top of the top slots, to the bottom of the bottom slots is 17 3/8".

As for the side fan, I think it would depend on if you're GPU/s and Mobo (Full Cover Block) are WC'd. If they are, I don't think you need it all if you have a memory fan. In my setup only the CPU is WC'd and all I see for normal usage is maybe a 1 to 2c increase on my GPU and NB depending on ambient as their both still air cooled when not using the side fan. I've never thought to check under a stress test. I've been wanting to add a GT AP-15 to the bottom of the case as an intake closest to PSU which is right under cooler fans on the gpu and see if I can do away with the side fan (and replace window) myself. Now after the holidays I'll have more time to play with this idea.

It says the radiator is 6.02" wide, and I measure I have about 6 inches of room. A 140mm fan will fit in there, but I didn't know if the radiator was wider than the fan. If it won't fit then I'll just put a 240 there.
This build should be epic when it's finished. I'm going to try to make it look really nice with all braided cables and a nice red black theme with red led Yate Loon high speed 140mm fans. I will post plenty of pics as it becomes a reality.

Yes it's possible ... i have one

I think this may be slightly larger inside but for me the cosmos ticks a few more boxes.
