I used the "wire grills" has a bit of space to wiggle cpu cable and connector. Try a little heat on the cables to bend them upwards in the space between the rad and the mb tray. My old sr1s were 58mm so I had the luxury or 2mm biggrin.giftongue.giflachen.gif

I have enough room now if I do like you suggested by shaving off the clip of my 8 pin extension plug. It will work. Thanks.

Awesome thumb.gif If this is the connector from the psu, you can always purchase a replacement and they are very inexpensive.

I ordered a braided 8pin extension. so i will shave that down to fit. If you look at the pic this is when i started swearing..I had already ordered the rad by the time i fitted the board into the case.. The case showed up a couple days ahead of everything.

Well, I hear the UT60 is pretty good with just one set of fans. I was planning to drop in a couple of the 360s in my rig before I decided to forgo water all together. It is one of the best, if not the best radiator out there. Well, try running the rad with one set of fans (either push or pull or test both) and then w/ push/pull. I even thought about getting the Monsta and one set of good fans :d. Other suggestions; this is a personal choice down to whether you care more about looks or performance--mount t the fans on top of the case. You can add a koolance shroud or make one yourself.

11 yrs ago I made an external enclosure to house everything then used quick disconnects for separation when travel to LAN. I swore after that I would never external anything again. The only good part about that was living about 45min drive to dangerden. So parts were easy to come by fast. So sounds like you are sick of water now. That's what happened to me years ago. Swore it off and sold it all. So much has changed now I had to try again.

It really came down to the expense frown.gif. By selling all my water gear, I was able to afford a new triple gpu setup and a new mb. It really dawned on me when I dropped $150 usd on fittings alone (not including the additional ones I already had). It was just getting out of control. This move allowed me to get a good setup going again (lost one gpu in previous setup) and its a lot more simple. I love water cooling and I'm super passionate about water cooling but the cost, the complexity, and its potential to damage things really are reason enough to take a long break from it. I might try it down the road but I'm having a lot of fun with air biggrin.gif (and not too many headaches tongue.gif).
