looks good nice side window mod thumb.gif

Ugh, I'm tired of water. This is a better challenge for me. I like the simplicity of air cooling and not dealing with a lot more components and any danger for killing your stuff with liquid.

That Hyper 212+ is going back to the store and I ordered another Silver Arrow. I think it offers the best cooling and noise for the money. Should be in by tomorrow. I had never thought about putting the 140s on the side panel but then it just clicked. Its a perfect match and its cooling what I wanted the side fan to do. I'm having some humming coming from the top two Bitfenix 230s. They're nice but too close to a panel/mesh and they make a lot of noise. I'm going to have to use something to absorb the vibrations/humming and add something to provide some space to quell the noise.

Hey Guys

OK after having a small holiday and getting sick I have found some time to check the side panel out some more and the thing is fractionally too wide! (Or the case is fractionally too thin for the side panel)
If I slot just the top or just the bottom in it has minimal resistance. This means that the Side Panel Tabs are good. There are also scratch marks on the edge of the panel and case too from where it is rubbing.

Going to get it Replaced me thinks, as I don't really want to have to hammer the snot out of it to get it to fit.

Thanks for the advice everyone and I will keep you posted on the build

Hey Everyone

New to the forum but have been reading overclock.net for some time now.

Just got the Elysium, Silver with side window today ready for a build! Going to run air for the moment with Water a litle down the track.
I had a small problem, the side panel (With the window) is really tight, hard to get back on to the case and was really hard to remove. Anyone else had any issues like that?

Cheers

The Wah.

well without rads now, wont you be able to fit some sort of fan adapter to move the fan away from the panel ? or using your longer rad mount screws with spacers. just a thought..

so not keen on the 212+ ?

If anyone is on the fence for the Black, windowed version this afternoon/evening (from 4 PM to 11:59 PM) Newegg has it on sale for $139.99. Check the Shell Shocker Deal flier.
