From what I've read, the non Sony controllers are complete trash. Many don't last a month, some of them have non working buttons, etc etc etc.

My suggestion: Pony up cool.gif

I would reccomend shelling out the cash for a new one if i were you. Good news is that amazon has them on sale right now for $36. If you have prime you can get free shipping.

Yeah I've been down the third party market, and even the expensive ones don't seem to live up to the good old default ones. Just not worth it imo frown.gif.

Maybe you can find a used one for cheap or something.

Yeah... Only the console makers make good controllers, because they usually take a loss on that part and make it up in software/other hardware peripheral sales to make up for it.

The 3rd party ones that rely solely on themselves for profit always seem to come up terribly short.

If you don't have a real need for wireless & the fancy triggers just pick up an old/new ps2 controller and adapter.

I refused to pay $100AUD for a second ps3 controller so just got an $10 adapter from ebay & utilized my no longer used ps2 one.
