yes and no

This is the EXACT SAME board as the P67, down to every spec, CPU fan headers and Digi layout.

The ONLY difference is they removed the P67 chipset and soldered in a Z68 chipset. What you get the new is Z68 features only.

Reason there is no Video ports is there were none on the P67.

Not true on that last bit. The Z68 UD7 is also devoid of video output to the best of my knowledge. It's because you don't buy the biggest and baddest motherboard to use integrated graphics. So they cut it out as it would only cause slowdowns when not needed, or so I believe. Not too up to date on the Z68 feature set.

That it does. Perhaps Newegg received a non finished copy. It isn't black on their website. That's for sure.

I am confused by Asus's own website:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Int...s_IV_ExtremeZ/

Intel® Z68 Express Chipset
...Moreover, Intel® Z68 Express Chipset also supports iGPU function, letting users enjoy the latest Intel integrated graphic performance.

Lucid Virtu
Enjoy optimal onboard graphics and discrete GPU's performance by dynamic switching!
Lucid Virtu is the GPU virtualization software along with 2nd generation Intel® Core processor featuring like Intel Quick Sync to enable an all-inclusive media platform and discrete GPUs coming with high-end DirectX 11 3D, anti-aliasing and performance features to get the thrills in games. Ultimately, users can enjoy optimal simultaneous performance in 3D gaming and video functions like transcoding and HD playback without having to manually change settings between GPUs.

* ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z motherboards retain iGPU accessibility alongside native LucidLogix® Virtu™ support for auto switching between integrated graphics and discrete graphics cards. This enables full use of Sandy Bridge iGPU features for improved media performance regardless of whether you use onboard or add-on VGA output.

So......
How does the board output video from the integrated graphic?
