Morphological AA Affecting Benchmarks?

Hello Overclock!

I'm currently trying to decide on a new GPU/s and have ran into a little conundrum. I REALLY like how well crossfire 6870s scale and perform, but I REALLY dislike how morphological AA (MLAA henceforth) looks. I'm not a fan of blurry HUDs and text, not to mention that traditional AA just looks better.

I know that I can disable it in catalyst, but my concern is regarding the accuracy of benchmarks of cards such as the 6850, 6870, etc.

Since MLAA is essentially a simple post-processing filter, the cards perform MUCH better using MLAA with disabled game AA than using the good old traditional stuff.

So... are all the benchmarks using MLAA enabled by default because it came with the new drivers? If so, since I'm planning on disabling it and running game AA, I do not have a good gauge of how well 6870s perform as compared to 460s or 470s for example. I don't want to buy my cards and then realize my FPS are 30 lower than I expected and I should've just bought 460s.

Thanks a lot in advance for the help guys! If anybody's got other suggestions of what I should spring for, I'm open to hearing about that too.
