I can understand since you don't have an ssd it would be nice to have the z68 caching but because you are strapped for cash you should just roll with that.
Save for an SSD sandforce upgrade later, wait for a newegg sale or something and grab a cheap one for your OS and a game.
Thanks but I'm not asking for HDD/SSD advice, just CPU advice.
Being the first one to buy the board is e-peen, the rest though is because I'm a mATX fanatic. I don't like big cases nor do I like big boards. mATX is perfect for me and my desk space.
I could care less about Z68 or P67, the fact is that this is the board that's good for me (has good onboard audio, SLI compatible, OC's well, and is ASUS).
