im not sure if the cooling i have is any good.

CoolIT Vantage A.L.C. WATER COOLING
The case Lancool Dragon Lord "Dark Ice" PC-K62 has 3 or 4 fans so i would think the cooling would be good.

Opinions? does anyone know much about the CoolIT Vantage A.L.C. WATER COOLING?

Found on another forum that 1.375 is the max voltage specified for the 970, however, I would say 1.4VCore is more than safe.

Try going into your BIOS, and changing you CPU voltage (VCore) to 1.35 volts, and set your CPU Bus speed at 165 and your CPU multiplier at 25. That should give you a good 4Ghz overclock.

If you don't feel comfortable entering these settings, than don't. You seriously wouldn't want to mess up that 970. smile.gif

EDIT: Your WC system looks pretty good.

Get a Spot fan, put it on the VRMs (Which are to the left of the CPU if you're looking at it from a birds eye view.)

Thanks, would i be able to get one of the local computer places to do it for me? and this is most likely a stupid question., can you cool to low and cause damage? say if my computer is not working on a cold day and all the fans are going and the spot fan and the water cooling??

You mean get your parts too cold? No, in the PC world, the colder the better. There's people that put Liquid Nitrogen in coolers.

Only the hard drives have an issue with cold.

Yeah but having a fan on them 24/7 wouldn't do any harm. Unless you live in Antarctica applaud.gif
