Trying to see if I can overclock my OEM computer.

It's not really an OEM, well kinda. I upgraded everything except the optical drive and motherboard and CPU.

So I wanna know if my computer is overclockable.

The computer I have is a compaq presario sr1315cl
I searched around and some people said that OEM's aren't overclockable, but some say that some can be overclocked. I don't know if mine is.
I also keep hearing about pll chips, dunno what they are. O.o
I'm new to overclocking, so yeah.

Can anyone help me?

Your motherboard is the K8S-LA (Codename: Salmon). You won't be able to as it doesn't have a feature for it. You can always overclock your GPU though if you have a dedicated card via MSI Afterburner.

To overclock the processor you'll need a board that is capable of overclocking.

Thank you, I have an nVidia graphics card and would love to overclock it then. How can I do that?
