890GX Chipset, mATX or ATX?

Is there a difference in performance from them? Each has 4x DIMMs and 2x PCIE slots. . .

Ones just a bit cheaper then the other *(Obviously the mATX)*

a chipset is a chipset no difference if it's the same one. the only difference is the size of the board and maybe some feature on the board put there by the company itself . like more I/O usb etc.

The ATX mobo's usually have better cooling and you can get higher quality boards. AMD Mobo manufacturers skimps on the mATX boards. You will have huge issues with the mosfets overheating. Overclocking will be tough.

Example: There are only two mATX boards that have mosfet cooling. The Biostar 890 and MSI 890. There are huge overheating problems reported with the MSI board. The biostar board has bios issues with the 6 cores.

Just go ATX and save yourself a lot of headaches. Only go mATX if it is an economy build or small form factor system.
